CHRISTINA'S FIT FLASH

HEY EVERYONE!
I hope you all made it through your winter session with loads of fun and motivation to carry you to the spring sessions! I am very excited about Spring! I can’t wait to open up all the windows and let the good energy enter into the house! I also can’t wait to take classes outside! I am also excited for this Spring because I feel my workouts have improved tremendously and I am anxious to test this out with a good run outside!

I have currently finished my first diet, EVER! And as a result I have lost 12 pounds, 6% body fat, and over 20 inches all over! I also had a total body cleanse which was the most important for me, the loss was a bonus! As many of you read this some may wonder why I needed to go on a diet! Well I am just like everyone else! I always feel the need for improvement and thought this was a good time to try something new that I had never done before! I am so glad I did it but during the 28 days it was the hardest thing I have ever put my body through even compared to the 12 classes a week that I teach! All said and done I learned to consciously decide to put something in my mouth and to choose fruits rather than crackers or chips! I have always eaten well but now I eat better! So when you are trying to lose that last 5 pounds start small! If you change one poor habit it could add up to 10 pound loss by the end of the year! Try grabbing water instead of that diet coke! Or grab an apple instead of a snack bar! All the small changes add up and you will start to feel better while you’re at it! See you in Spring! I can’t wait to smell the flowers!!
