Happy Birthday Fitness Motivators!
CHANGES COMING

In order to continue with our excellent reputation in offering a high quality fitness program and after careful consideration, we decided to be selective on where to teach our energetic, motivating, fun classes. Being one of the most popular fitness companies is an honor after 23 years of servicing the Detroit metro areas. We appreciate the many inquiries requesting our program. We are also flattered that other instructors attend our classes (some unannounced) to see what makes us so special and fitness companies who continuously tries to copy us. But most importantly, we are extremely grateful to the dedicated clients who allow us to be part of their fitness regiments. Because of you, we succeeded in our goal of helping others reach their fitness goals.

So if you no longer see your class/location on our Class Menu in the upcoming sessions, please join us at another location. We are worth the extra few minutes in driving and promise to provide a fun, motivating, entertaining class for all fitness levels! In addition, our price continues to be highly competitive and not only are we going to be selective on where we offer our program, we are now even more picky on who we select to be a distinguished Fitness Motivators instructor. - Donna

CLIENT HIGHLIGHT - COUNTRY OAKS CLIENTS

After two years of living in Missouri and the occasional visits at the Country Oaks class while in Michigan, it was only recently (after my move back to MI), I realized that these special ladies stayed with us, some since the inception of Fitness Motivators (1988), for 5-10+ years. Throughout the years, I have seen their fitness levels increased dramatically! Moreover, it is noticeable that Christina and Beth did a wonderful job in pushing these ladies to the next level of their individual fitness abilities. Well done ladies for the commitment and allowing us to be part of your lives!  You all are amazing and we are honored to have each of you as our Client of the Month! - Donna

CHRISTINA'S FIT FLASH

All in Moderation!
Hey everyone! I hope everyone’s winter session has been going well and now that Spring is upon us we are really hoping to get into those tank tops and swim suits! Well here is a bit of advice I can give and my own personal motto. “Everything in moderation!” While making food choices I never deprive myself of something I want, I just limit the consumption of it. If I have a craving for a cookie, I will eat just one cookie, not 4 or 5. This way I am still satisfying my craving but not taking it over board and creating a problem. The only thing about this principle is you have to have enough will power to just have 1 cookie, or limit your intake of your favorite junk food! If you look at your days with this in mine, “What you eat today, is how you will feel tomorrow” it will help you move through these cravings! If you eat healthy one day you will notice a huge difference in how you feel the next day! I promise! Try these tips and it will help you reach that goal weight or summer shorts you have been worried about!! Until next time Stay Happy and Healthy!!!

FIT FOR FORTY PLUS TIPS

Avoid Overuse/Repetition As We Age
The weight seems to creep up on us even when our fitness level remains the same in intensity and duration throughout the years. Haven’t you notice as we age, we feel we have to train harder and longer just to maintain our weight or add more to our already full fitness schedule? Well, most likely, that often backfires on us and if we are not careful, the result is more visits to doctor’s offices and emergency rooms for injuries. So what do we do? Make sure to avoid overuse and repetition. Not only doing the same exercise day after day will become boring and after awhile, you will also reach a plateau faster and eventually end up with an overuse injury too. To read more... click here

YOUR FEEDBACK IS IMPORTANT!

BIRMINGHAM
"The student was new to Zumba and said the instructor (Noor) is easy to follow, really nice, and caters to all the students (old, young, different levels of physical fitness, etc.).  The instructor is very approachable and the class is comfortable for all levels." - Bingham Farms, Birmingham Schools

FARMINGTON
"I am in your (Debbie) Wednesday night class and have been for over a year. Your class is the one thing a week I do just for me. In my busy life, I make Wednesday night sacred. When I started your class I had a frozen shoulder and back trouble. I refused surgery and chose fitness. I am not the greatest at the steps or the moves, but it fills my soul and I no longer need physical therapy or surgery. I rave about you to everyone I know. Thanks for your enthusiasm and acceptance of all types of women!" - Kathy

MILFORD
"I wanted to thank you, yesterday I tried on a pair of pants that I have not fit in since I had my son and they fit!! Thanks so much for all your motovation and support! Isn't that great!! Thanks Christina!!! For real, I was running around the house sooo excited those last couple of pounds were just so hard and your class is sooo fun that I never want to miss it. It really has been great for me and you are an amazing teacher! - Bethany

"Donna you are insane and an awesome instructor! You and Chrissy have the best classes and I cant wait to go again!" - Jennie

MISSOURI
"I miss your positivity and influence, Donna! I not only went to your classes because I enjoyed the workout; I enjoyed the contagious feel-good attitude. You always made me feel better at the end of a crappy day!" - Sarah

"We took a Zumba class on Wednesday. OMG...It was NOTHING like your class. I was very disappointed :0( It was very slow paced...I didn't even break a sweat til it was the last song before the cool down. . . . PS. . .While we were doing the class, the instructor yelled "Whoop Whoop"... we looked at each other and went "HEEEYYYYY!!!!!" WE MISS YOU (Donna)!" - Trish

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE

"My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride."
- from Nickelback, If Today Was Your Last Day
